Classes have an average of 26 students, some including Special Education and English Language Learner students. Inclusion classes are taught by both a curriculum-based teacher and a special education teacher in a co-teaching environment. Six to eight teachers from each grade are organized to form villages, thus allowing for team-teaching and small learning communities. MBA offers a standards-based, research-driven curriculum that is designed to prepare all students for post-secondary education. All teachers attend curriculum training to ensure quality education in the classrooms. Professional development is provided on a monthly basis to allow for continuous growth among the staff. |
